Stradbroke island

We had a entire day entirely dedicated to spending at Stradbroke. Starting at 5 in th morning and ending at 8 at night it was a day filled with beach and great views.

I have been reading a series of books called the Edge Chronicles. There are sky pirates on floating ships and many different species filling this world made up by the authors. I decided to draw sky pirates of my own design. I highly recommend the series.

This one is the first mate named Bochus Eavesdropper. He is a waif who can read the minds of every one within a large radius. He is the stone pilot.


This is Captain Stormeagle. He a member of a race of red skinned creatures called slaughterers.
(Yes they all have hair like that)

Australia Day

Today, for Australia Day, we went with the church to Redcliffe. I liked the rocks so I took some photos.

In case you can't tell, this crab's carapace is as large as my head.

New chickens

As a large Christmas present from Mom and Dad, we got chickens.

The youngest: Ember.

Irene's: Zelda (now deceased).

The oldest and mine: Captain.

Angel.

Isaac's: Aunt May. She is the same type as Angel and Captain. There can be three different colourings of this type of chicken, and we got all of them.

Naomi's and the only hybrid: Emma Woodhouse.
