Macleay Island #3

Here are some more of the vast hoard of Macleay island pictures.

The car barge that took us there.

This face was carved into a stump with the stump still in the ground.

A fenced off swimming area. The net is there to keep the sharks and dugong out.

Macleay Island #2

These are more photos from Macleay island

On the ferry to Macleay island.

Mangrove trees, They live in right where the tide comes in. And the ends of their roots stick out of the ground like little saplings. They also have a natural filtering system that cleans the water.

At the Macleay island jetty.

Irene found this stump that looked like a bear.

Lone pine koala sanctuary.

We have been living right next to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for 4 years and we finally got A pass.
A joey in the pouch.

Some random people went up to us and gave us some tickets to koala photos.

The joey and the mom, both eating.
